The Walter W. Stiern Library celebrates Black History Month in 2022 by providing information and resources to the CSUB campus and community on Black Media Professionals in America. "Media" is not just limited to print and electronic journalism, but also encompasses podcasts, online communities, radio, and multiple publications of the written word. As advocates, Black media professionals work behind the scenes as well as represent their communities within the public sphere. The Library encourages the efforts of this cohort of professionals as they seek to establish equity, continue social justice awareness, and celebrate diversity.
