Permalinking to Resources

"Permalinks" are stable links to resources in our library collections that can be embedded into Canvas, syllabi, and assignments. The following instructions explain how to find permalinks in several CSUB databases:

OneSearch  |  EBSCO  |  JSTOR

Permalinks in OneSearch:

Locate the resource record in OneSearch. Click on the ellipses in the top-right corner of the resource and/or select the "permalink" icon above or below the resource description.

Permalinks in EBSCO databases:

The address bar of a record in EBSCO doubles as it's permalink:

You can also share a permalink with others by clicking on the "share" icon on the record screen:

Permalinks in JSTOR:

Locate the resource record in JSTOR. In the individual resource record, click on the permalink URL located directly under the title and citation. The permalink will copy automatically and is ready to paste into your course or document.
